Wonders of Christmas...

Merry Christmas everyone!!
well...today's already the 26th....
past few days have just been crazy...
now i'm just going out loads..friends ..hanging out...just relaxing...

hehe...Augustine got me this really really cute pink tiger from Russ..

got him a pair of gameday soccer socks and perfume -Armani code...I'm so proud that i picked it out...it spells so so so so good....hehhee...got it for my dad too...of course the money comes from mum so it's practically my mum's gift to them..Adrian got a Spongebob stuffed toy form me and a remote control car from Augustine...mum got this set of pans from Tefal...hehehhe could see that gleam upon her face...

hahahhaa....can't believe mike trusted me with his car...at 12.30 am...atleast he was there in the car...btw, sorry again lun...hope i dun scare you like that again...hehhe...dex really thought i drove the car into a ditch..=) i didn't for your information..

Tian's car broke down on the way to magenta!!!what??last thing i'd imagine would happen to Tian..according to mike, it ironically happened when he was accelerating at the traffic light so that he'd be ahead of people..hehehe...

anyway, just helped mike make an oreo cheese cake...yum....it tasted good...just have to wait for the cake to stiffen up in the fridge.hehehhe...funny thing is, yesterday mike tried to bake a california cheese cake yesterday but the butter from the cake mixture leaked out while it was baking...it was because he read the instructions as one a quarter cup of flour instead of one AND a quarter cup of flour...ahahaha...so the cake ended up about a centimetre thick instead of 2 inches (or more) thick... it's ok...admire mike for baking...he's had many successes anyway...including the cream cheese tiramisu he made yesterday (cream cheese with whipped cream, some sweet berry compote and a sponge finger...the combination is scrumptious...*drool...)

can't wait till all of us go out for a nice day together....*dreamy....

In a nutshell..

A supernova of emotions has just occured in my life...

Everything is just going so fast...REALLY!...time flies...

This concoction of joy, exhilaration, disappointment, frustration, anticipation, annoyance, and excitement is killing me!!!

If life continues this way, i'll have a heart attack by tomorrow!!*laughs...

Keep going...keep striving...keep believing...keep praying...

Monday, December 17, 2007

*sigh....

*sobs...

disappointment..in myself..experienced by my parents even if they don't admit it...i feel like i've betrayed them.they've worked till their blood and sweat has stained me...the ground i live on...the food i eat...

God...pray that you guide me..just to be grateful and appreciative of the blessings..to learn from mistakes and to rise up from them...not to fall deeper into Satan's hell hole...

most importantly, i want to congratulate Sjane, mtyp, Cel and mel for their excellent results...you gals worked ur butt off and deserve it...*hugs...i'm so proud of them...Louis too....*(even if he can't get the official ENTER, from his grades,he definitely has achieved something to be very proud of...)...mike and khang too!!you guys will be such great engineers...=) Jeremiah...without much effort is still able to pass his physics and get the offer he wants..=p

KL

now i'm here in kl....

freaking plane experiences turbulence so many times....felt like puking..luckily movies kept me company...Stardust is nice!!No reservations as well...=)

i'm such a movies addict..muahahahahha

woohoo!!reached kl night before last night...

seeing that my family of four had TOO much luggage the reception at the budget services told us to get 2 taxis which was bout $135 in total (the other choice was the van which was$180..=p)..me and augustine rode in one taxi while adrian and my mum rode in another...
our REALLY nice and funny cab driver noticed our seperation and revealed that we could have taken one budget taxi which was cheaper!!he told us that that taxi had a modified interior specialised for max of 4 ppl and lots of luggage.grr....

but anyway, we talked bout his experience as a taxi driver...

he was actually previously a BANK MANAGER....i repeat...BANK MANAGER with 9 tellers under him.but the stress and high blood pressure he encountered from all his work led him to quit his job...he then got to know the roads in KL through the tau ket service and then upgraded himself to the airport services...he says he earns MORE money than when he was a BANK MANAGER...hahhaha

what a worth while change...

he told us of one of his regular customers...from Japan. This Japanese couple comes twice a year to KL for two days at a time...2??all the way from japan...an average or RM 5000 EACH for only the PLANE tix...he says he drives them to their hotel from the airport.after a night at the hotel, he would drive them to Genting in which they gamble.then they go back to Japan!altogether , he says, his transportation services cost(with tips) RM500...once, the cab driver asked if he lost or won at Genting and he revealed that he lost RM20,000...that Japanese guy was as quoted "calm and still smiling"!!That couple must be filthy rich!ah...

He told us plenty about his life as a airport taxi driver for the past 2 years...having even to drive to penang and Terengganu before which takes about 4 HOURS each!or even learnt Thai through his Siamese colleagues...frustrations as a taxi drover...for eg. there was once this Iranian family family who asked the taxi driver to carry their bags up 5 floors at their hotel.of course the cab driver refused to seeing that it's not his job and that the bell boy could do it.Then the Iranian said to him," We're Muslims and Muslims help each other." *laughs...The cab drier told him that this is malaysia and we do not discriminate any religion, colour or race!

THAT's a true Malaysian...hehehheh

Anyway, yesterday was ok i guess...ate breaky at the hotel and lazed around in the apartment till 10 o'clock.went to BB plaza and shopped till bout 2...ate lunch...(prawn mee noodle...yum...)then me and my mum headed to back to our shopping(we expanded our vicinity for shopping to Lot 10 as well)till bout 7...then we meet up with my father and bros who went swimming before...
ate dinner and spent the night watching television...

btw...i can't believe i bought heaps today...never expected to..=p

let me see...i bought a shirt from DFO(banana republic with the words 'happiness' on it, 2 hoodies from abercrombie(one is black and white stripped and the other is brown) ,2 dresses(one is bright shocking pink and another with diamond motives printed all over..)...,a pair of nice sandals(black and white..)..erm...hahha...can just imagine it...dunno where in the world will i possible wear the dresses tho...=) is that even heaps?i think to me it is...haahaha

today...will be MEGA MALL DAY!!

i better control myself..otherwise my dad will need to file for bankruptcy soon...

*Jingle bells, jingle bells*

Christmas is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!

presents, scrumptious feasts, decorations, caroling...

but ofcourse the most important thing about christmas is the birth of our dear Lord, Jesus Christ..

let's start it off with a bang ei?

By laughing!!

so SMILE!!!and have a great holiday everyone!!

cant believe it..

Went out with my mum a few days ago to buy some groceries and my mum unfortunately (in shock might i add) revealed that she took the wrong keys to the house!!well that means we couldn't open the front door!

so....we tried to open the side door to the back yard...luckily it could open but i had to experience some pain squeezing my fingers through that small tiny gap...=p

then i had to climb in through the window by the kitchen sink!!augustine had recently stripped an old bicycle he found to it's skeletal form...so with this wheel-less bicycle my mum held it in place while i attempted to get into the house ( the base of the window was at eye level by the way...another misfortune...*sigh)

the funny thing was my mum made me laugh (who wouldn't!!) and i was dangling in the air while trying to contain myself otherwise i would have to start over!mum gave me a boost too...thank god..by the time i was inside i released my pent up laughter...

then i realized....my mum brought the wrong set of keys right??

although it didn't have the front door key, the key ring had the back door key...so if we got past the side door...we could have just opened the back door with the key we had!!!!

what an unnecessary need to risk my life....(hahhaa...jk....exaggeration)...it was still a waste of precious energy...

But i can't believe my mum and I were THAT blur....

*laughs...

Monday, December 3, 2007

*laughs...

Here's the perfect picture that incorporates both the down side and the joy of being old, wrinkly and grey..someone posted it up on facebook...hahahhahah...even my mum laughed...*smirks..

enlightened..

Mine was in a cone but this picture seems so much more delicious and scrumptuious!!hehehhe

At first i thought today would be another boring day...

eating, sleeping, tv and mass...that's why my increasing weight becomes an issue...hahhahaha..

anyway, augustine left for sydney with the other EMYFers at about 4 plus this morning and their plane took off at bout 6 plus...=p...can't believe i'm missing this trip...nah...everything happens for a reason...=)

after mass, i checked my phone to find Xin had suggested we go out for lunch of smtg to discuss plans for his tutoring sessions next year..he'll be my mentor...hahahha...kinda scary ...having to teach students seeing that i will still be one in uni..
instead of lunch we just went out for gelato since he had to meet up with his other frens and i had already eaten lunch..=p..

the great thing bout Xin is that he's such a wise fellow..he's earning tons of money writing reports on the economic field at his tender age of 24...(not exactly sure bout his age..it's about there)..(he reveals that he writes reports that cost his clients about and average of $10,000...what the!?!?!?might i remind everyone that it's PER REPORT!) successful in work is one thing to admire about but his most admirable attribute is his ambitious vision to make an impact in the world...even through his tutoring centre!!(trying to touch on human development...for example getting our generation to love learning and how to learn so that this individual can succeed in all aspects of life..he uses the quote "
give a man a fish, feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, feed a man for a lifetime"...) he's a relatively young christian (president of EMYF i might add) and already he's planning big things for his community and the world...

best thing is i can't believe i have the privilege to know him and that he's a friend of mine!!hope he won't find out how terrible i am at explaining things...hahahah...need to learn before my weakness shows...

oh ya!!had a lovely passionfruit yogurt gelato...yum....*smack lips..too bad the shop we went to was doomed to be closed soon...smtg bout business being not so good...well...glenferrie's like that i think...i guess the old shops need to make way for new ones due to it's student dominated vicinity...

after Xin brought me home, followed my mum to send out catalogues to neighbouring houses...it's supposed to be augustine's job but he's bored of it AND he's in sydney anyway...but the job's kind of a rip off anyway...but it's a nice walk though...=)

tomorrow, goin out with Karen for lunch and then we're gonna visit Joon Hui..i'm kinda nervous actually...i really loathe being helpless in the presence of someone who's in pain or suffering...it really is heart wrenching...

anyway, today was a mind opening day...although i already know it, xin confirms my most obvious weakness..ofcourse that's for me to keep a secret..(not gonna reveal to the entire world my flaw!!=P)..not playing the blame game but i know it's cause and like he said...

"Like in Newtons 3rd law, whatever that can be proven scientifically has a cause(action) and effect(reaction)*laughs...however, in life it's significantly different. There is a cause and effect but in between there's also the choices in life...one person can react to a tragedy by getting all depressed but another individual who experiences EXACTLY the SAME situation can rise up from his haunches and be empowered by his mistakes and learn from it...it's the choices that we make that determine which direction we take..."

Another interesting thing he said was
"Why can we all walk?As babies we keep on trying regardless of the people around us...falling a MILLION times, we strive until we reach successfully pick up our tiny feet, taking those milestone steps in our lives...As adults, we unfortunately encounter the meaning of 'embarrassment' and 'fear'.no longer the daredevils when we are children, we find ourselves fearful of making mistakes...that's what draws the line between somebody immensely successful and one who's not...It's a cycle...Good decisions stems from experience.Experience originates from bad decisions. Bad decisions comes from mistakes...so the MORE we make mistakes, the MORE we are equipped with the knowledge and experience to make GOOD JUDGEMENTS...therefore success...a simple concept yet we all struggle with it..."

A lot to take in right? it takes so much strength and courage to accept the truth about ourselves and absosball these ways to improve on them...but it's takes even more to transform this information into action....

inspiration

third album..

Delta goodrem...powerful, strong, beautiful and she just got engaged!!

listen to her songs...it's empowering..

In this life is my favourite so far!!but all her songs are great..

"In This Life"

I was nurtured I was sheltered
I was curious and young
I was searching for that something
Trying to find it on the run
Oh and just when I stopped looking
I saw just how far I'd come
In this life
In this life

You give me love
You give me light
Show me everything that's been happening
I've opened up my eyes
I'm following
Three steps fight an honest fight
Two hearts that can start a fire
One love is all I need
In this life

I have faltered I have stumbled
I have found my feet again
I've been angry I've been shaken
Found a new place to begin
My persistence to make a difference
Has led me safe into your hands
In this life
In this life

[Chorus]

I was put here for a reason
I was born into this world
And I'm living and I'm believing
That I was meant to be your girl
In this life

[Chorus]

sadly my dad left for kch this afternoon as he had some urgetn office matter to attend to...grrr..again....he could have gone back with us on the 9th AND stop by in kl with us as well.*sobs...

Is any of you still in that career dilemma stage?hahahha...

still blur...

if only i could 'steer' well....

by Missy Higgins...

Feel it falling off like clothing
Taste it rolling on your tongue
See the lights above you glowing
Oh and breathe them deep into your lungs

It was always simple, not hidden hard
You've been pulling at the strings playing puppeteer for kings
And you've had enough

But the search ends here
Where the night is totally clear
And your heart is fierce
So now you finally know that you control where you go
You can steer

So hold this feeling like a newborn
Of freedom surging through your veins
You have opened up a new door
So bring on the wind, fire and rain

It was always simple, not hidden hard
You've been played at a game called remembering your name
And you stuffed it up

But the search ends here
Where the night is totally clear
And your heart is fierce
So now you finally know that you control where you go
You can steer

'Cos you've been listening for answers
But the city screams and all your dreams go unheard

But the search ends here
Where the night is totally clear
And your heart is fierce
So now you finally know that you control where you go
You can steer
Year get out of the box and step into the clear
'Cos now you finally know you can steer

Back From the Dead...MUAHAHHAHHA..

Matt Corby!!
NATALIE GAUCI!!!!
3 August 2004 | This NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope image reveals a pair of half a light-year long interstellar 'twisters', eerie twisted funnel structures, in the heart of the Lagoon Nebula (M8
our magnificent Sun...

Galaxies are actually found to be positioned in a necklace like position!not randomly as previously assumed...

hehehe...blog died temporarily....

now it's post VCE and i cant wait to go back home to kch...

well...i'm just so freaked out bout what my results are gonna be...

17th of Dec...4 am malaysian time...ahhh....guess i'll have to wait...

can't wait to go to sydney in the 2nd tho..woohoo!!!youth convention AND it's the 1st time i'll be in sydney...

NATALIE GAUCI WON!!love her style of singing...ofcourse matt is spectacular as well but i think this is her big break...matt has already been exposed to the music industry..so he'll be getting record labels eventhough he's the runner up...carl's so good too!!but as he's not as good a singer compared to nat and matt he was sadly voted off...hiya...wished that all three of them could win though...

can't wait to watch "Across the universe"...all i know is that this movie was moulded around 33 songs sung by The Beatles and that the producer's other works include The Lion King!

last friday, was at youth watching this documentary on the universe....we're just this tiny, itsy bitsy insignificant speck on Earth which is microscopic speck in the milky Way galaxy which is a one in the billions of galaxies in the universe..Then what goes beyond that???what's beyond those billions and billions of stars and galaxies?

First, the documentary explored if there would be a probability that other "Earths" would exist in other galaxies?come to think of it,taking into account the existence of probabilty, there would be a chance of complex life in other galaxies but it would be slim... Why?there are many factors that need to be taken into account for such as the size of the star in the solar system, the distance away from the star, the position of the planet in the galaxy...oh my goodness...there's so much to take in....our Earth is so privileged as it's location in the universe was as if we were accurately (miraculously come to think of it)positioned such that complex life existed AND that scientific discoveries could be made due to our position in a non gaseous part of the milky way...

The most important thing is that we humans were made by an intelligent being that brilliantly moulded the Earth in such a way that we could explore the universe beyond the boundaries of Earth AND COMPREHEND + UNDERSTAND the workings of stars or planets a billion light years away!It just goes to show how much truth there is in the words of the Bible which stated that God made us humans in his own image....with the inclusion of his intelligence...it's not being arrogant and committing blasphemy but the truth.....Think about it...It just gave me goosebumps and threw me into deep thought about how this world really ticks...

A memorable 3rd of August....=)

Our school's annual music concert was set for 7.30 that night.First we had to have the rehearsal at Hamer Hall that morning which was exhausting yet enjoyable...

First before we left the school premises,we had a role call to ensure everyone was present...turns out, Shery wasn't at school that morning. Although she had woken up early that morning, she didn't come to school..we all presumed she skipped school and well....Jayne wasn't too pleased..(she claimed that Shery had not been practising for Senior strings so she might be skipping the rehearsal due to certain intentions)...Jayne was fuming tho...=p

during the bus ride...seems like sjane and I were just plain bored...however we took some pictures and engulfed ourselves in our Lodge days...*sigh....

Taken in the bus...on the way to rehearsal...Sjane,wat would i be now if u didn't come to Gen!

The National Gallery of Victoria...I love this art gallery...had the privilege to explore this place years ago...btw,...i think i took a pretty ok pic ei?=p...

Mr. Blazejzach was quite stressed that morning as some some senior choir students were totally blur about the words to the songs that we were suppose to sing that night...we even came in at the wrong cue...hahahha... can u believe that?hehehe...we seemed so screwed but...we went on... The orchestra was terrific tho!(Thank God...i swear Mr. Blazejzach was about to explode from the pressure)

hahaha...during our rehearsal, coincidentally, we, the five asians were standing in a row AND we were positioned in the middle of the group...=) Go ASIANS!=p

went back home early that day...2.30pm...so we could prepare ourselves for the night...

At about 4 plus, went online to find Jeremiah who was apparently stressing bout his formal shirt cause he gave it a wash....in the washing machine...which is not a very good combination seeing that it was an Armani shirt...=p...anyway,since i had to go to the city,i decided to go early to check his so called "jiao jiao" shirt...

On the way to the city i had the opportunity to witnessed a sad sight....At one bus stop, this blind man was tapping the side of the bus(at hearing the bus screeching to a stop,he must have known the bus was there).then he struggled to find the entrance by using his blind stick to assist him...the bus driver shouted direction to ensure he could get up the steps of the bus...then he cautiously climbed into the bus...the bus driver helpfully asked where he would like to stop and offered him as much assistance as possible...when we arrived at his desired stop i had to watch him, painstakingly plus a heavy heart, get off the bus and even worse, my eyes tailed his fragile body move as he tapped around so that he could get to the corner of the street where he wanted to cross the street!my gaze just happened to land on the bus driver's where he nodded and gave me the "you see?how strong this man is?" look...must be tough having to drift and wander round the city without the gift of sight...we are lucky arent we?but God has his reasons....

Didn't take a picture of the poor guy but this picture that i found on the Internet reminded me of him....he had frizzly white hair and was wearing spectacles of dark lenses...

was caught in a traffic jam while in the bus at the city...driven by fears of being late, i sorta ran to Tian's place so that he could take me to Jeremiah's...silly me...Both Jeremah and Tian were laughing at my school uniform...=p...Jeremiah's exact words were,''Sorry ah, but your uniform is quite ugly la!".....=p...Anyway,Jeremiah looked fine!!with Tian's advice on how to do his hair and how to straighten out his suit as well as his tie, he came out of the toilet looking the best he could...had a chat with them before jeremiah went to congregate all his friends at the lobby to wait for their taxi..

jeremiah styling his hair...=p

after all Tian's advice and personal touches to his look, Jeremiah's ready to make his big entrance at the formal!=p

Made it to Hammer Hall in time but being as stupid as i was, i went strolling round the place with Shery cause i couldn't find the choir members...who were actually already on stage!!!=p...luckily i bumped into Mr. Blazejzach who must have been pretty mad but he told me curteously that the choir members were already stationed on the stage...hahahha....

Took a picture with some of the choir girls before we went to watch the concert while we waited for our turn on the stage..All of them sang perfectly that night...=)

well the magical and enchanting night went on smoothly...the music and the singing performances were spectacular...the unexpected highlight of the night was that Jayne receiving an outstanding ovation from the audience as well as the entire female student body....she was awarded a specially made pair of music batons for her services as music captain 2007...Mr. Blazejzach seemed to be choking on tears when he made the presentation although i wasnt sure..hmmm...but Jayne did!!it was tears of joy!everyone was so proud of her...

I technically missed the bus home that night!!!it scared the living daylights out of me!Fortunately there were two bus routes that went thru Belmore road and therefore i just had to wait a little longer for the other bus...*whew...
got back at about 10.50pm..what a tiring day...but it was a nice day....one to remember...

One compact with laughter, tears(it was like deja vu of the Joseph musical....*sigh...Good times...),friendship,music,morality check and happiness....

What do you want to be when you grow up?

heard this before?we've all been bombarded with this question since we were kids...naive and oblivious to the pivotal role of a future career, we answer with the impulsiveness and immaturity that we possessed at that age..

"I wanna be a rock star!"*play the 'invisible' guitar...

"A soldier is what i wanna be!i fight and shoot at people for fun! hahahhaha!"*start to run around the house pretending to be stuck in the middle of a shootout on the war field....

"i want to be a fairy princess!"*dancing ,doing pirouets and dreaming...

now however,it's amazing how we've evolved..outgrowing our unrealistic dreams...
Many of you will pursue ambitious and demanding careers..made up your mind yet on what are you going to study to deepen your knowledge on what you want to make of yourself in the near future?
engineers, economists, lawyers, vetenarians, physiologists, dentists, business men and women, chefs, actors or actresses,

architects,

doctors,
accountants...

legendary movie star???

The list goes on....

my dilemma....

CPST =P

played this game during youth last night.it's like this:
1. Form a circle of people

2. One would just say any word like, eg. apple.

3. Then the next person in the circle would have to say another word which would link to "apple" BUT the word cannot start with the letter C, P, S or T.

4. once someone says a word beginning with C, P, S or T,he person is out of the game...

hahahha....you'd be surprised at the level of difficulty this game is no matter how simple it sounds...=)..

imagine if the first word was 'sweet'-mostly the first words that come to mind would be "sugar", "cakes", "chocolate", "pie" or "pavlova"...

or maybe if the first word was "orange"- words like "strawberries", "citrus", "pear", "sour", "sweet", "tangy" or something beginning with C,P,S or T would mostly be the initial words that pop into mind..it's been proven by scientists and all...

hehehe....

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Back from my beloved KCH to hellish and boring SCHOOL

you know that feeling when u've just reached the end of your holidays and u go to school wishing it wud never end?....

well this time that horrible feeling and tempting desire has multiplied itself 10000 times after coming back to melbourne..

i definitely appreciate my mum and my bros being here with me but still,my WHOLE family's not together...sometimes i feel guilty seperating my dad from us...

sigh...

but anyway, atleast my family and i got to spend some time back in kuching together...it was great meeting up with frens and conducting our usual reminiscing bout the good old days..
getting to go out for lunch or dinner and having laughs was unbelievable comforting but so unsatisfying as when u leave kuching, your heart craves for more...

my heart goes out to everyone who has spent their first year overseas feeling alone and sad...just pray and study hard to accomplish what u can to make yourself proud then we can go back home and not look back with regret and sorrow....because you've done ur best and u should be proud of ur achievements...

IN KUCHING...
had great laughs with kitty and sjane at Urban & Co. where we were trying on dresses while we were oblivious of our laughter which was at max volume!poor jeremiah at to wait for ur girls to do our thing while we waited for mike to finish getting his haircut....hehehhe...

Sjane's always cracking me up with her clumsy ways....hehehe....she's a freaking professional dancer BUT she can trip and fall atleast 3 or 4 times in a duration of 15mins!!!hehehe...u r so cute sjane....

mike, our lifesaver, is as usual bringing us around, organizing outings and keeping us occupied with lunches and movies...Thanks mike!!sorry bout the parking tix!!!hehehe....i guess i was partially responsible for it...luckily u found another...=p...

Leh ding is just UNBELIEVABLE!!!he's gonna study for his year end exams although he's bed ridden AND on the ventilater.....i salute his perseverence....

i won't forget the bowling session with khang wee, sjane and mel!!it was so fun....poor sjane got of at a slow start with gutter balls trailing her but she got the hang of it soon and she managed to knock plenty of pins down!!go sjane!!khang had the bowling style where ur leg bends at the end of the throw which we girls envied....mel with her usual funny and fun nature recorded a few of our bowling rounds and we laughed incessently!!!

the day before when sjane, khang and i went to buy siaw hui's present,i became a spectator of the 'battle of different styles' between sjane and khang...hahahhaha...they seriously can't agree on any item in stores!!hehehe...for eg,when they were choosing which Guess bag they liked best, khang picked the one that Sjane hated the most and vice versa!!!hahahhaha....it continued uptill our decision to buy siaw hui's present...hehehhe....u guys crack me up....

when we were at alison's house i made a stupid comment...firstly,mike who came late tricked sjane that he had to pay RM10 to bribe the traffic police not to saman him as he was talking on the hp while driving...he made her think that he was talking to sjane at that time and pretty much made sjane feel horrible...i didn't noe for sure that it was a trick so i said,

"are u sure you got fined??for sure the traffic police issued u a receipt for ur offence?"

At that, everyone paused, looked at me and burst into peals of laughter!!!hahahhaha....y the heck did i say that???hehehhe...as everyone laughed all i could do was hide my face....*blush....

Btw, 'Transformers' and 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' are great movies to watch int the cinema!!!the graphics in 'Transformers' are fantastic!!!!! u must watch it in the cinema!!!!!!!!!!!!

hhahahaha......here's a joke i heard from some crazy funny frens at school...

HOW DO YOU GET 100 PIKACHUS ONTO A BUS?

YOU POKE-EM'-ON!!
=P
hehehhee.....
Hope u guys have a great week ahead and stay POSITIVE!!!!
Love all of u and i totally miss our bonding sessions....

Aftermath...

Oh wow...it's been a month and a day since i've last posted and entry in my blog...not too late to start again i guess...

Firstly....RELIEF AT LAST!exams are over...*phew...don't want to rub it in though cause all the Trinity and Taylor students are just commencing their exams...

Oh my gosh!!!it was such a treat to finally be in the company of all the present Melburnian ex-2006 Form 5ives..except Louis...who was apparently attending his formal ...*ahem ahem*...with a date apparently...The lively occasion was that of MTYP's ...belated...BIRTHDAY!!!although already a week has gone by...Sjane had been planning the day since weeks prior...we went shopping in the afternoon at Bridgeroad and had a lovely heart to heart dinner at an Italian restaurant...(although glitches occured such as ppl having to study in the afternoon therefore limiting the ppl getting to shop in the afternoon as well as booking the wrong italian restaurant (not on Lygon street as assumed) and then having to pay quite a bit of money for the meal WHICH arrived late might i say...)It was a SPECTACULAR evening....the classic deluxe black forest cake from Brunneti's was the bomb.By the time we all got home we still felt stuffed and overfed...

plenty of pictures were taken which i DON"T have...(silly me for not bringing the camera...)but i think it can be found on Sjane's or Roger's or Van's or Siaw Hui's blog...either one would definitely post up those lovely pictures we took...our group photo at the restaurant and at the lobby of the apartment Tian is staying at...

I guess this is not a detailed blog but the night was beautiful...can still run the details in my head but no words can describe how i truely felt...

The shopping at bridgeroad...hahaha....Triya,Mtyp,Sjane and I all tried on a dress....Sjane looked so good but the dress was a teany bit too big and too long...Triya had to leave the rockmelons which she was planning to take back to Singapore at Sjane's apartment...funny thing is when triya and i requested to see her apartment she immediately screamed out,"NO!YOU are NOT going into the apartment!"...both of us were in utter shock as we both didn't expect a 'No'...she then cared to explain of the 'messiness' of her residence and also cared to mention that her brother was actually cleaning up the place as her bro said(as quoted by sjane),"Have to clean up the place!!Mommy's coming tomorrow!!"Sjane even mentioned him having to clean up plates which haven;t been washed for 2 weeks!hehehhehe...funny...

hehhe....Kim is so cute...heard she plays a really good impression of a psychotic woman...wish i could see!!!but she's too shy...dang...then there's siaw hui and van...hahah...those two have some issues sumtimes...hehhe...siaw hui broke van;s heart!!!*tsk tsk...how could you siaw hui?...and then i supported van when she told me helplessly and with a 'genuine' sadness that siaw hui was ignoring her...muahahahha....finally getting to bully Wuitler...dang!no akmal to emphasize on the Wuitler issue...then there's yee ying who's always so kind and smily..Emmeline!!!whose new hair do(since moving to Aus)i love on her...but she told me of the maintenance issues....heheh...hard to manage knd of hair but i think she looks good in it...poor maoling and maoli had to pay for their untouched dinner as their mum requested for them to return home immediately for some reason...Cel and Roger brought back all the memories of the past..even as early as primary three during which we had a (at that time) fun trip to Merdeka Palace where i first tasted a genuine oven baked pizza at the italian restaurant!another good thing bout the trip was thta we travelled using Farah's 2 air conditioned bus!Jeremiah....same as ever...hahah...We suddenly played 'under the rainbow'...Random thing...hehehe..it was like deja vu...being back in our younger years...hahha...i remember chinann bringing the cake down to the lobby whilst all of us left ours upstairs so that we could accompany mtyp before her bro came to pick her up..in the lift we were all in peals of laughter and smirks...=)he answered ,'the cake so nice bah...want to eat it!'hahahahahah...

ofcourse there's MTYP who was the lucky girl of the night who received flowers(from sjane),plenty of presents and ofcourse ATTENTION!!she was as sweet as ever and at Tian's place she finally had the opportunity to express hersilf through her musical talents with Tian's much sought after 88 key keyboard...Happy birthday again MTYP and i hope u had a great time//;

Ofcourse i want to thank Sjane for planning the might and for her patience and time....She knows...heheh...remember the tempting trenchcoat and boots..she resembled a working woman in those professional sounding boots and clothes...hehehe....

Conclusion is...that night was another treasured memory to add to my wonderful collection of past experiences...i hope there would be many more to come...

Religious Class..

i love my religious classes!!!we always get to talk about daily or international issues or just chat and gossip...every religious session a pair of students would have to do a reflection on something.. today's was about life.Rosie and Cecil prepared today's reflection...they played a song by Switchfoot to remind us and trigger our minds to think about our present life and reevaluate our lives as well as our goals... What i want to highlight is the movie that we watched (in 3 periods) ending today. The movie's called 'The Emperor's Club'...Watch it...it's really an eye opener! here are a few striking and really life impacting quotes which i thought i would like to share...
  • A man's character is his fate
  • Aristophanes once wrote, roughly translated; "Youth ages, immaturity is outgrown, ignorance can be educated, and drunkenness sobered, but STUPID lasts forever."
  • The worth of a life is not determined by a single failure or a solitary success
  • The waters in which we found ourselves swimming, were precisely as lovely as those we had earlier only imagined. But if time had made concessions for love, it made none for death
  • Not to know what happened before you were born is to be forever a child
These are a few funny scenes in the movie...hehe... Louis Masoudi was running on the grass (unknowingly i think..) and the teacher Mr. Hundert called him. William Hundert: Excuse me?
Louis Masoudi: Huh? What me?
William Hundert: Yes, sir. What is your name?
Louis Masoudi: Uh, Louis.
William Hundert
: Just Louis?
Louis Masoudi: Louis Masoudi, sir.
William Hundert: Mr. Masoudi, could you define the word "path" for me?
Louis Masoudi: Well, there are several definitions, I suppose.
William Hundert
: Would "a route along which someone or something moves" be among them?
Louis Masoudi: Yeah. Oh, yeah. No. Yeah.(silence) (Mr. Hundert fake coughs ,raises his eyebrow and hints to the grass.)
Oh yeah. I'm s-sorry, sir.
William Hundert
: Follow the path, Mr. Masoudi. Walk where the great men before you have walked.
Louis Masoudi
: Yes, sir. It's, uh - It's better for the grass.
William Hundert
: It's better for you. ______________________________________________________________________ William Hundert: [discussing 44 specific emperors] Can you name any of them?
Sedgewick Bell: I can name 7.
William Hundert: Go ahead...
Sedgewick Bell: Grump, Sleepy, Sneezy, Doc...
William Hundert
: Seriously, do you know any of them?
Sedgewick Bell: I can name 4.
William Hundert: Go ahead.
Sedgewick Bell: [in an English accent, counting off his fingers] John, Paul, Ringo [closes all but the middle finger]
Sedgewick Bell
: and George.

=)

hehe...i remember yesterday during physics class when our Physics teacher,Mr.Servello was teaching us about bending and strain energy...he asked if anyone had a long plastic ruler..Sjane, with the best of intentions offered her ruler amongst a few others.Mr. Servello picked someone from the front row who had offered her ruler but it wasn't the flexible one. So Sjane bended her ruler to test it's flexibility...As our class was coincidentally talking bout fracturing materials and elasticity limits, her 'test' resulted in her snapping her ruler in half..hahahahah!!!

Sjane, u crack me up...

Straight lines...

"Straight Lines"
by Silverchair

Breathing from a hole in my lung
I had no one
But faces in front of me
Racing through the void in my head
To find traces of a good luck academy

Sparks ignite and trade them for thought
About no one
And nothing in particular
Washed the sickened socket and drove
Resent nothing
There's good will inside of me

Wake me up lower the fever
Walking in a straight line
Set me on fire in the evening
Everything will be fine
Waking up strong in the morning
Walking in a straight line
Lately I'm a desperate believer
But walking in a straight line

Something I will never forget
I felt desperate
And stuck to the marrow
Invisible to everyone else
I'm a sex change
And a damsel with no heroine

Wake me up lower the fever
Walking in a straight line
Set me on fire in the evening
Everything will be fine
Waking up strong in the morning
Walking in a straight line
Lately I'm a desperate believer
But walking in a straight line

I don't need no time to say
There's no changing yesterday
If we keep talking and
I keep walking in straight lines

Wake me up lower the fever
Walking in a straight line
Set me on fire in the evening
Everything will be fine
Waking up strong in the morning
Walking in a straight line
Lately I'm a desperate believer
But walking in a straight line

Didn't know that Silverchair is of Australian origin...just a little fact...
